Restaurant Ribič has a familiy tradition held on from generation to generation. This year celebrates the 50th anniversary. It is located in the heart of Zagorje, surrounded with valuable historical mouments and famous historical figures and has a rich cuisine, All these five decades and secretly preserved recipes are not forgotten and they are known as authentic traditional dishes.
Restaurant Ribič is well know for bringing Zagreb - style steak to substantual size with skilful and creative hands of staff from our menu, we recommend aged steaks, lamb chops grilled veal, knuckle baked dishesw and seafood specialities. The offer is enriched with excellent wine list, homemade wine and Muscat from treasury of the restaurant. With every great meal and a glass of wine the whole story is rounded by fantastic sweet desserts of our chef.

*from our smokehouse - smokehouse is a closed room designed for curing meat by smoking. There is a place on the smokehouse floor for slow combustion of wood. The combustion produces cold smoke that a gently surrounding the meat hanging from the top, while protecting it and enriching with aroma.

*zagorje region- is a true treasury of unusual delicacies and dishes made by resourceful women from Zagorje Region for thier big families, all due to financial distress and poverty. One of those dishes is, of course, the traditional Zagorski štrukli which we warmly recommend.

*Zagreb-Style Steak- is our signature dish which represents the tradition of our restaurant. It is a steak filled with ham and cheese, coated in egg batter with flour and bread crumbs. The steak is then in minimum amount of oil and finished in the oven. You, our dear guests, have been talking about it for several decades. We are greatful, thank you from bottom of our hearts!
